The Vice President of Recruitment is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Interfraternity Council's Recruitment system and for annually updating and enforcing the Recruitment Rules and Procedures. The Vice President of Recruitment is required to live in Knoxville during the summer and is responsible for the Fraternity Life interest sessions during Summer Orientation. All fall and spring recruiting activities fall under the purview of the Vice President of Recruitment.

The Assistant Vice President of Recruitment is responsible for supporting the Vice President in the planning, implementation and evaluation of Fraternity Recruitment each semester. He is elected by the Interfraternity Council with the understanding his election is a two year commitment in order to encourage consistency in the Recruitment process. He automatically assumes the Vice President of Recruitment position at the end of his first term. He is required to live in Knoxville during the summer and assists in the Fraternity Life interest session during Summer Orientation.
